Design Talk

Talk Title: ‘Data & Crafts’

Talk Description:

Designer craftsman Abdollah Nafisi talks about the Arts & Crafts movement, his experience on BBC TWO's 'The Victorian House of Arts & Crafts' TV series and his reflections on the movements relevance in the current data driven world. He asks what can we learn from the 1820-1920 movement as we see an increased awareness of the importance of craft for our well being, global activism and for the future of the British economy?

Stay for the weekend and enjoy the rest of the exciting talks, contemporary artist demonstrations and creative workshops inspired by the Arts & Crafts home.
